Hi hello! So you want to Learn a Language huh? WELL here’s my method!!

**1.) LEARN THE WORDS 2.) LEARN SOME STRUCTURE 3.) IMMERSION 4.) TRIAL BY FIRE**

1.) The 80/20 rule - 80% of the words used by people everyday are only 20% of the words in the language. If you learn only 1000 words you can have a huge amount of vocabulary to talk about most things! Maybe not the exact word but the ability to ask what it is or use more general terms!

2.) The “glue” - so you have your words, now what? You need to be able to structure a sentence, how do you do that? Learn some basic rules about the language, how to form a simple sentence, word order, one or two prepositions. THEN most importantly the verbs!!

3.) Immersion!!!! I hate the trope that “babies learn languages better” - nO tHeY DOnT sHuT uP . They just get such a massive amount of immersion. The more the better, the more interesting topics to you the even betterer - this will make you even more excited to learn and stay committed!

4.) Speak! It’s terrifying at first but you get over it! If it did it at 14 in Barcelona you can get over it too pal. It SUCKS at first, “I don’t understand” and “can you repeat slowly” are you best friends at first, but just wait for the amazing connections you’ll make as soon as you have that first connection in someones mother tongue.
